This site isn't finished!

I would still like to hear from people who worked for Alf Childs or Hap Alzina while the twin carb kits were on sale.  Contact me at - myles.raymond@btinternet.com

Most special thanks... to Daniel Boss, whose BSA Super Rocket web site was the inspiration for starting this site and whose contacts, hints, tips, photos and encouragement made me finish it.

and gratitude... Brian Pollitt of the UK BSAOC, Clark Francy, Mirek Sharp, Tony Boothman, Brett 'Rickman' Matthews and Walt Malec - many thanks, guys.

and a special mention... to Johann Patek for his photos of the well-made DIY twin carb heads, tales of wild Viennese twin carb racers and  encouragement to keep drinking that most splendid product of the Czech Republic, Staropramen. And Johann, you were right about the GSOC...

and also... to Gene Thiessen for notes and details about the fastest twin BSA ever made - he rode it.

and finally... to Arthur Lupton for his famous red book and tales from within - Arthur worked at BSA on the Daytona machines and provided help, encouragement and in beautifully hand written letters until his death in June 2001.

There aren't any other sites about twin carb kits - this is the only one!  However, if you're interested in pre-unit BSA twins, it's not inconceivable you'll find these of interest.

BSA A10 Super Rocket Page - Daniel Boss's site, devoted to the BSA Super Rocket and the chief inspiration for this page.

Dynodave - Dave Comeau specializes in technical research for British motorcycles, mainly BSA. The only other person on the planet (that I know of) doing serious technical work on BSA tewin carb heads. I'm just a researcher - this guy is a serious engineer!  He also has high quality repro inlet manifolds for sale made by Gustafson Machine.

Don't  waste your life on Ebay - check him out!

BSAOC UK - UK BSAOC web site maintained by Brian Pollitt.

C&D Autos - The original BSA only specialists.  Lovely people and they really do have some parts still in original wrappers.

SRM Engineering UK - Specialists in parts, services and rebuilds for  BSA pre-unit and unit twins.  Catalogue available in paper and downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF file from their web site.  If you want to get parts, advice or general info about pre- and unit twins SRM are the masters.

American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association - Why are the most interesting BSAs found in the USA?  Is it because the most interesting BSA riders are there too?  Here's where many of them hang out.

BSA Pitstop - Superb BSA-only bulletin board run by Morgan Johansson.  Boards are only as good as the people who contribute and in this case, that's very good indeed - a gold mine of information.

Classic Motorcycle.com - David Stuebe's site has
